How we can help

Glasses on book

Editors and scouts

  • We represent a diverse selection of literary agencies and publishers. Each of our clients has their own distinctive identity; what they have in common is a commitment to developing talent and sharing new ideas.

  • We believe that relationships are at the heart of publishing. We travel extensively to book fairs and to visit editors at their offices so we can learn about their interests and understand their businesses.

  • We build long-term partnerships. Once a deal is agreed, we work closely with author and editor throughout the publication process.

  • We love to talk about the authors and books we represent. We'd be delighted to arrange a meeting in-person or online.

Literary agencies and publishers

  • We offer all the services of an in-house rights department. We look after negotiations, contracts and tax exemption forms. Once a deal is agreed, we support the author and publisher through publication to build a long-term relationship.

  • We travel widely, both to book fairs and to see publishers in their offices, so we have a strong network of relationships and detailed knowledge of international markets.

  • We help develop a rights strategy to maximise income for clients and authors. For example, we often advise publishers on potential acquisitions, or work with authors and agents on proposals. Sometimes a small tweak can make a big difference to a book’s international potential.

  • We’re flexible. We specialise in translation rights but also handle other rights if that suits the client’s needs.
